Tom Ellis, PGA
Tom has been a member of the PGA of America for 20 years and has taught students of all skill levels. Tom's specialty is short game instruction focusing on lowering your scores and also teaching beginner clinics. Tom's philosophy is to keep instruction simple and to teach in a way that allows a student to improve on their own. From the beginner to the advanced player, including men, women, juniors and seniors, Tom will tailor a program specific for your game and learning style.
Matt Degiorgio
With over a decade of experience in the golf industry, Matt brings a passion for both competitive play and helping others improve their game. Matt's background includes teaching experience with adults and juniors of all skill levels and focuses on personalized instruction that fosters growth, confidence, and a love for the game. Whether you're a beginner looking to build a solid foundation or an advanced player seeking improved performance, Matt's mission is to guide you to your fullest potential on the golf course.
Bob Halloran
Our junior golf instructor is Bob Halloran, who joins the Furnace Brook staff after a long career in broadcast journalism. He worked as a news and sports anchor at ESPN, FOX 25, and for over 20 years at WCVB-TV in Boston. An avid and knowledgeable golfer, Bob comes to us with a passion to teach golf and introduce the game to the next generation of golfers. Bob is married to the lovely and talented Eileen Curran, and has 4 children. He lives in Milton, but his backyard has a Quincy address!

Beginner Group Clinics
Our beginner golf clinics will prepare you to learn all facets of the game including putting, chipping and full-swing fundamentals. Clinics are geared towards adults who are new to the game or who want to freshen up on their skills. Clinics will meet once a week for 1-hour over a 4-week period. Clinics will be limited to 8 students and are open to the public. The price per student is $195 which includes golf instruction and golf equipment if needed. We combine instruction on the golf course and also in our indoor simulator studio and full simulator instruction during the offseason. Our After School Junior Golf Clinics will meet once a week for 45 minutes over a four-week period. In a fun learning environment, students will learn the basics of the game including putting, chipping and full swing-fundamentals. Clinics will be limited to 8 juniors. Cost is $150 per session.
