Golf Course Rules & Regulations
Tee Time Policy
- Public Tee Times are available 3 days in advance.
- Public may play any time Monday through Thursday, before 10 AM on Fridays and after 3 PM on weekends and holidays beginning April 1st through the day before Thanksgiving.
Pace-of-Play Policy
- The pace-of-play for a foursome at Furnace Brook Golf Course is 4 hours for 18 holes or 2 hours for 9 holes. It is expected that all players complete their rounds within these time parameters.
Golf Cart Policy
- Golf Carts will be available up to 5 hours before sunset for 18-hole play and up to 2 1/2 hours before sunset for 9-hole play. Golf Carts must also be returned no later than 30 minutes prior to sunset.
- You must be 21 years or older and possess a valid driver's license to rent a Golf Cart.
- Golf Carts are prohibited from the parking lot areas and surrounding roadways.

Players in golf carts must obey all cart rules and cart signs when operating a golf cart.

Golf carts should remain no closer than 30 yards of any green complex unless a cart path is closer.

Golf carts must also remain on the nearest cart path of any tee box when starting a hole.

Anyone with special medical circumstances needing additional exceptions must get approval from the Head Professional in advance.
Golf Course Etiquette
- Players are required to replace and/or sand fill divots they make on the golf course.
- Players are required to fix any ball marks they make on the putting surfaces. Please keep in mind that you can still make a ball mark even if your approach shot doesn’t land on the green. Often you may hit the green, but your ball may roll off into the rough still creating a ball mark on the green.
- We also ask that you please take the time to fix an additional ball mark or two and fill in any other divots when time allows.
Dress Code
- Proper dress is recommended when playing golf and using the practice putting green.
- Collared golf shirts are recommended when playing and practicing. We don’t recommend jeans, gym shorts, sweatpants, t-shirts or tank tops while playing or practicing.
- Proper golf footwear or sneakers as an alternative must be used when playing or practicing.
- You may wear jeans, t-shirts and sneakers inside the clubhouse and inside the simulator lounge.
Outside Food & Beverages
- Outside food or beverages, including non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, may not be brought onto the golf course, inside the clubhouse or to the simulator lounge.
- Single beverages that you arrive with such as water, coffee, sport drinks are permissible.
- Food such as power bars, crackers, etc. are also permissible.
- Coolers brought to the clubhouse or to the golf course are also prohibited.
Parking Lot Policy
- Tailgating is prohibited in all parking lot areas.
- Please use the public restrooms inside the clubhouse.
- Golf Carts are prohibited from the parking lot areas and surrounding roadways.
